An inconvenient truth
As a person who enjoys watching documentaries, An Inconvenient Truth has been one of the few documentaries that has allowed me reflect on my life and the world around me. I had known that pollution has become a huge hazard to our planet, but I never really realized what great impact it has done to our natural resources in the past decades. I was astonished and appalled by the before and after photographs of glaciers and lakes. I became a bit upset and even sad to realize that because of us, we have had many of these places dried out. Instead of helping the planet we are destroying it day by day. Throughout the documentary, I even felt a bit angry towards myself because I could help create a better environment for me and many others on this planet, but it wasnt until i saw this documentary that i realized that it would be a good idea that i should take action. Al Gore has put much effort into presenting these presentations, and i am glad that i came across it because now i am more educated in the global warming situation. Now i know more about what it is we all have to focus on if we want to create the positive change that many of us long for.
